The work of Jamie Hudson is concerned with non-illusory tactics of production. He takes interest in the shifting boundaries of representation and investigates the pace of contemporary life; specifically the effect of constant shifting on behaviour and perception.

The resulting assemblages and object-works present decelerations of truth that revel in their potential disorder. Irrelevancy is an important notion in his practice, recent works include non-functional technologies and fragmented images. These pieces suggest a conclusive idea, but attempt to emphasise conflict rather than a single definition.
