Eloise Nicholson’s practice focuses on how we perceive and recognise colours within interior environments- specifically the ‘home.’ By playing with ideas of visual recollection, her work attempts to transform our momentary perceptions of interior ‘domestic’ colours into visual/physical works which take colours beyond their singular purposes and actively reflect both the immediate and the expanded space.

Through these images alongside her sculptural works she investigates the idea that our visual perception of one singular colour can provoke a much larger understanding of the environments, objects and experiences which relate to it.
